Santa Train

On Sunday, we drove to North Bend to ride the Santa Train with the Hickeys. We boarded the vintage train at the North Bend Depot and traveled about 20 minutes to Snoqualmie, where we got see Santa. Nana, Papa, & I got our picture with him and Nana asked for a trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania. After meeting Santa, we went over to the vintage army train car, where they were serving hot cocoa & cookies. They were actually baking the cookies in a old coal oven that was on the train car. All around the Snoqualmie Depot is old vintage cars (some that you can climb on) and picnic benches that you can sit at and enjoy eating the cookies & sipping your hot cocoa. While we were sitting at the tables, Evan spilled his hot cocoa and poor Missy was sitting beside him & got it all over her pant leg. Meanwhile I got my picture taken with a constable. Then we headed off for the candy shop and Papa bought us all old-fashioned rootbeer sticks. After the candy shop, we hurried back to the station to catch the train. On our train ride back to North Bend, our whole car sang Christmas carols together.
